Hope And Healing For a Hurting World

It’s a great, big, beautiful world we live in. Brimming with diverse landscapes, colourful creatures, vibrant cultures, all held together in the hands of a loving Creator.

But it’s also kind of messy. There are unjust systems, cycles of violence, families in turmoil, all stemming from broken relationships with God and with others.

And yet at the rock bottom of all the pain and confusion, there’s Jesus, willingly giving his life to heal our wounds and establish a new way of living—an existence where neighbours live in peace, where all creation thrives, where each individual is championed and offers their unique contribution to the whole, epic masterpiece.

This kind of hope has the power to transform lives. Not only that, it has the power to transform families, communities, and entire nations.

The thing is, not everyone knows there is a God who enters into our pain with us. There are more than 2 billion people who have never even heard the name of Jesus, let alone experienced the life-changing, planet-altering, transformational power he offers.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) exists because the truth that God is good and desires relationship with us is a message everyone should hear. We provide relational discipleship, foundational training, practical ministry and intentional community, and it all starts with our five month Discipleship Training School (DTS). 

During this season, there is space to personally experience God’s transformational love and, after spending a few months in Australia, head with a team overseas and actively explore what it looks like to spread God’s love in a broken world. 

Because whether it’s to the corner store or to a remote nomadic tribe, we want to springboard every believer into the world to spread the good news that Jesus is making all things new.
